I recently moved to Ormond and the groomer I was originally going to moved 40 min away. My friend recommended Abracadabra to me and I could not be happier. They're conveniently located, this is my 3rd time going and they get my little havanese in quick! Same week! The man who works the office and makes the appointments is so nice and patient. They have great hours so I was able to drop off my little girl at 7am which is nice cause she's a nervous dog so it allowed it to be more quiet for her. They were very loving towards her and took a lot of notes as to how I wanted her groomed. I'm very particular as when my dog is groomed too short she tends to look like a rat. They took LOTS of notes about how I liked her body versus her paws and face etc. I picked her up today and wow she looked beautiful! Perfect, exactly what I was looking for. The best part is at pick up my dog wasn't very stressed and was quietly sleeping in the pick up pen. I will definitely be coming back!!!
I can’t recommend Abracadabra enough! They always take such amazing care of our baby boy Jax and he comes home looking incredible and smelling so good every single time. We wouldn't trust anyone else with him! The staff is so kind and they even take the time to capture the sweetest photos of your baby. The seasonal touches like his little bandana are just the best he looks like a total model! Your fur baby will be taken very well care of they truly put so much love and care into what they do. I am so happy with the care and time this groomer took with Humphrey. He is 16 , almost blind, deaf and gets scared easily. Brian even called me during the groom to go over a few things that were going on with Himphrey. His wife Betty was so amazing with him. I wanted to leave a review to let ppl know how caring and compassionate they are. Prices are great as well.I will return.
If the owner working the front desk is miserable working with animals he shouldn’t own a pet groomer. I called hours ahead and asked when it would be a good time to bring my dogs in for a simple nail clipping. I was told to bring them in at 430, so that is what my husband did. He was met with annoyance because “now everyone is going to come in at 430.” My husband took our dogs in one at a time as they are high energy, vocal dogs and still puppies. After bringing the first one in the owner was again annoyed that there was “another one.” Again I called hours ahead and mentioned we would be brings TWO! He then proceeded to just be rude and called our male dog dramatic! HES A PUPPY AND SCARED! This is the second time we have had this same experience with the new owners. I have been using them for years with the old owners (fully grooming our 18 yo Maltese every other week) and was never met with anything but kindness. What a shame the new owners are in an industry they clearly do not enjoy! I would definitely suggest taking your fur babies anywhere else.
Awesome Grooming service with awesome customer service. I look the new look of the place. I have been coming here for 13 years and it is better than ever now!!! My girls loveeeeeee being there. Highly recommend!!
