Amazing staff extremely friendly and helpful I tried everything to get rid of my cats fleas. I spent 100's and 100's of dollars on products that didn't work hours I'd my time cleaning and never was able to get it under control. Finally I called the cat care clinic, after speaking with a very friendly very informative staff meme or who explained exactly why I couldn't get rid of them and told me what I should and desperately needed to do I went there bought the product she recommended which was significantly cheaper than every product I had previously tried they were gone. It worked after one dose and house cleaning they were gone and have not come back. Thank you very much I appreciate all the help you gave me and will not take my cats anywhere else but your clinic from here on out. Thank you Bernice cassidy
Best Vet/Staff EVER. I’ve had cats my whole life and this was my first “cats only” clinic. I can say from the moment we walked into our first visit about a year and a half ago we knew we were in good hands. The staff is so kind and sweet, incredibly helpful and intelligent. They don’t “scruff” and help educate on why that’s not good practice anymore! Our rescue Luna has had a few of little hiccups along the way and they have truly made a measurable difference in her heath and longevity. I couldn’t be more grateful or recommend them more. 10/10 Worth a 40 minute drive from the country for quality care.
**edited to shorten** I chose The Cat Care Clinic because I have three male cats with urinary issues and wanted the specialized care of a cat-only practice. Unfortunately, after several months as a client, I lost confidence in the clinic due to poor communication, lack of empathy, and unprofessional conduct. One of the first red flags was hearing reception staff openly speak negatively about clients within earshot of the waiting room. It created an uncomfortable environment and felt highly unprofessional. Throughout my time there, I often felt like my concerns weren't being heard and that I had to repeatedly explain my cats' medical history despite being a frequent client. I also felt that expensive treatment options and financing were pushed heavily, while little effort was made to discuss alternatives or work collaboratively on costs during emergencies. The final issue involved my cats' prescription urinary food. After we (the clinic & I) changed their prescription diet, two of my cats suffered back-to-back urinary blockages within days of each other. Following those emergencies, the clinic recommended switching the brand of prescription diet but failed to provide clear instructions on what food was needed or how to obtain it. We were simply told to go to PetSmart. As a result, we purchased the wrong food because we were never given proper guidance, and within weeks one of my cats experienced another blockage. I completely understand that urinary conditions are complex and that no veterinarian can guarantee outcomes. My issue is not with the medical recommendations themselves, but with the lack of communication, follow-through, and compassion surrounding critical aspects of my cats' care. After the last emergency, I transferred my cats to another clinic and immediately experienced a much higher level of communication and support. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I believe other cat owners deserve to know about my experience - I know how much it means to have good care.
The Cat Care Clinic truly cares about your cat. After 4 different veterinarians, huge amounts of cash spent and multiple misdiagnoses, we have finally found an amazing place where our cats can thrive. They are friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly, we didnt get the feeling they were in it for the money, but for helping cats have the best quality of life.
We’ve seen Dr Monterroso with multiple cats, always when there’s a problem where we need a Dr. She is not only clearly, a person with a heart of gold, she listens to every word I contribute to the conversation & diagnoses correctly. She takes an interest in the proper care of my cats. The staff are gentle & caring. It’s also really great it’s cats only because cats are hyper vigilant, barking dogs elevate their stress. I don’t encourage bothering The Dr with unnecessary texts, but she is so great with communication. A member of the staff follows up to check on your beloved patient, which you think may be the norm but I’ve experienced differently in other high risk situations. I highly recommend the cat care clinic! The drive for me is a bit inconvenient, but irrelevant for the level of care we receive. ❤️🩹
