and then
We contracted with FAS in November 2024 for 7 impact resistant window panels. When installed in March 2025, the grid pattern between the upper half moon panel and the bottom rectangular panels did not align. On three subsequent attempts FAS and their window subcontractor failed to correct the misalignment problem. The fourth attempt succeeded and our project was completed in March 2026. We rate FAS workmanship 5 star. Ineffective communications with subcontractor and excessive project completion delay was 1 star.
My experience with FAS was very good to replace my 30 year old windows. Starting with the sales rep Garrett who knows his product and the industry and was helpful in choosing a style that I am very happy with. FAS was the 4th window company I met with for a quote. The first was from Renewal by Anderson which was RIDICULOUSLY ASTRONOMICAL. The 2nd company failed to email a quote. The third company never even checked back with me after the meeting to inquire if I had made a decision. The lead time from order to install was not bad (about 4-5 weeks). The install team had a process that kept the mess to a minimum and was methodical in completing the install. The windows look great. The in-house account team has been very pleasant to work with.
Just had our windows installed. The quoting process was seamless. Our rep showed up on time, as scheduled. Demonstrated the windows, provided samples as well as computer renderings. We had inquired about a new front door as well, but when we saw the price we hedged. The rep didn't pressure us for the extra sale at all and was totally understanding when we went with just windows. We told him we were getting more quotes and he also understood with no pressure, nor even negative comments about his competitors. (This was not something I can say about the other companies we got quotes from.) He did mention that they no longer use a brand of window, but encouraged me to look into them myself. I did, googled the brand and saw post after post of poorly constructed windows, so was glad to take that brand off the table with other quotes. Once we agreed to move forward the scheduling and communication was great. The crew showed up on the dot for their install schedule. The crew was a subcontractor, WA Precision Window, and they were fantastic. Courteous, polite, clean. The windows were installed in a couple of hours, the house cleaned up when they were done. Their caulk work is great. I couldn't find their company when I googled them, but if you ever get the chance to use them, I recommend. We're waiting on our final inspection now, and I'll return to this review if there are problems in the next couple of months. But right now I couldn't be happier with FAS for the windows and the service provided.
From start to finish, class act. Jason Miller understood my time constraint on quoting, gave all information upfront and made the decision to move forward a very comfortable one. Jordan in scheduling was prompt, responsive and within 2 days, entire project was done. Very happy with this purchase and experience as a whole.
After interviewing six (yes, 6!) window companies, I selected FAS Windows & Doors because salesman Jason M. provided the best presentation and competitive pricing. All staff were efficient, courteous & punctual. Matt & Andrew installed 12 impact windows and thoroughly cleaned up as they progressed. On a separate day, Mike & Bob returned to replace a slightly defective window. Scheduler Jordan M. & accountant Suzanne B. were also quick & efficient coordinating schedules & payment plans. I'm thrilled with how smoothly everything went. Highly recommend!
