Rocco, our rat terrier had to be neutered and the staff was great. The young person that met us at the door was kind and sweet and when we picked him up they were just as kind and did a great job with him for a very low price. Love this place
They take great care of the animals they work with you through the adoption process from beginning to end and are very upfront about the condition of the animals their age and methods of care
Just adopted my amazing cute cat Koi! She's great and was well kept along with all the other cats. Dogs too! Place is really amazing after their remodel!
I want to send a huge thank you to the Halifax humane society. My fiance and I went in there last Saturday afternoon and met our new and amazing best friend / son his name at the shelter was goose since then we have renamed him Zeus, because he is strong and mighty. He has gotten me personally through more anxiety attacks and mental health issues in this last week, very special little boy we are and we feel so blessed to have Zeus in our life today is a week he is an awesome Valentine's Day present I could never ask for anything more and then my boy. Once again thank you for all that you guys do not only for the animals but for people like me and my fiance that come in and are blessed with one of your animals that you guys work so hard to rehabilitate and find new homes for you guys are angels. A huge thank you to all of you.
I took my grandaughter here to make a donation and look at adoptable pets over Christmas break and it's very clean, very busy,lots of adoption assistance and visitation rooms for adoptable families to meet. The grounds are nice and the cafes were well kept qnd clean. Information was readily available and staff and young volunteers were truly happily engaged in their jobs. I couldn't find a donation box to make an envelope drop off donation and staff were so busy at the front, seemed a bit confusing in our figuring out how or who to seek help at the front only because they were so busy which was great to see. But I thought my 5 year old gbb had a positive experience on the visit.
