Thank you Dr. Barnes and all the wonderful associates at Salsburg Animal Hospital. You took such great care of my dog Angel over the last few days when she developed Pancreatitis.Keeping her all day on IV fluids made such a difference. Her levels are normal now and she is so happy to be home feeling better. I know this condition can be very serious and I am so grateful for your care and that I was able to bring her back home since she is only 2 years old. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a caring place to take care of your fur baby come here for excellent care and professionalism.
Great visit :) Everyone was super nice. The hospital is cute and clean. The exam was quick and thorough as I had no concerns for my cat, Pepper, just a physical with vaccines. She was great the day after as well; prices are reasonable, way better than what I would compare since being new in the area and moving from Miami. Definitely will recommend to others and continue care here as needed.
Dr. Barnes & Dr. Salzburg are my absolute favorite veterinarians around hands down and being a veterinary technician I’ve worked and seen a lot of veterinarians. These two men are #1 in my book!! They are all 5 of my pups vets. PROS: Easily & quick scheduling Fast getting appointment times Visit are straight to the point, no up-selling here! If you arrive early, they check you in and see you early. Very quick refilling medications and writing prescriptions Many products for purchase in main lobby Dr. Barnes is absolutely amazing!! He is straight forward, treats your concerns, problems at hand, and doesn’t go looking for “more problems “. His goal is to save you money, not make you spend it! All 5 of my very different temperaments rescue pups feel so at ease and comfortable with Dr. Barnes!! Thank you for taking care of miss Athena time and time again!! ❤️-Juliens CON: It may take a few weeks to get a new patient appointment but if you can wait, it is definitely worth the wait.
As an animal rescuer and dog mum of 4, I finally found our furever veterinary clinic. Dr. Salzburg, Dr. Barnes and the entire staff are so caring and supportive. No matter the problem big or small, the care is consistently provided, with detailed explanations as needed and questions answered when we have them. Recently while out of town my 16 year old dog passed. I mentioned it to the front desk so they could remove any active appointment reminders, and a few days letter i received a sympathy card from them. Yesterday I discovered that they had made a donation to the UF College of Veterinary Medicine in Tebow’s memory. I was stunned. I have never had a vet do something so meaningful and so thoughtful. I have had many visits to vets with my foster dogs, personal dogs, and other assorted animals I have found hurt and or dying. This team of caregivers are truly invested in caring for your furry family members.
