Spectrum Bulk Deal – FAQs for Aberdeen Residents

1. What is it?

  • Spectrum is offering bulk-rate deals to local communities like ours.
  • The deal includes 1 Gig internet service and a Signature TV package with 150 channels (excluding premium channels like HBO, Disney, etc.).
  • A dedicated customer service line just for Aberdeen residents will be available.

2. What will it cost?

  • $57.15 per month for both TV and Internet (if 70% of residents participate).
  • Does not include approximately $5 to $6 in taxes and government fees.
  • This price may adjust based on actual participation and can increase up to 6% per year.

3. What if I am not a current Spectrum customer?

  • You can keep your current services as-is with no additional cost.
  • You’re still free to shop other internet and TV providers if you choose.
  • The $57.15 bundle covers both TV and Internet, so consider the value.

4. I’m already a Spectrum customer – do I need to sign up?

Yes, you must sign up in order to be included in the bundle program.

5. How long will these prices last?

Prices are locked in and guaranteed for 8 years.

6. What about equipment costs?

  • Spectrum will upgrade equipment as needed at no charge.
  • DVRs and extra TV controllers are optional and may carry an additional retail charge billed directly by Spectrum.
  • Modems and routers provided by Spectrum are included with no monthly fees.

7. Can I cancel after signing up?

No. Once the bundle begins, you cannot opt out.

8. How will this be billed?

  • A new line item will be added to your monthly lot rent statement.
  • Your current payment method will be used for both rent and the bundle.
  • If you sell your home, the new owner will automatically be enrolled in the program.

9. When does this take effect?

Once approved, the change will take 3 to 6 months to update the prospectus, followed by a mandatory 90-day waiting period required by state law.
